  • What days do you operate?

    Striker operates 7 days a week out of Tauranga Bridge Marina

  • How do I know if the boat is available?

    Available dates come up on our booking system. We also release shared charter dates on our social media platforms, so you can jump on the booking system via the website and secure your space.

  • Do you cancel shared trips?

    Yes, we cancel shared trips if not enough people book on – we require 6-8 to run. If you’re thinking of booking, let your mates know to get a group together!

  • What’s the most popular time of the week for trips?

    Our weekend trips are very popular and often book out in advance with whole boat bookings, so book well in advance. Shared charters are more often on week days.

  • How much do you require as a deposit for a booking?

    For a whole boat hire, we require a $500 deposit, for a single person on a shared trip, we require payment in full when booking.

  • How much is an overnight trip to hire the whole boat?

    The cost to hire the boat for up to 8 people on an overnight trip from 6pm returning 4.30pm the next day is $4,500

  • How much is an overnight trip on a shared charter?

    To book a single place on an overnight shared charter from 6pm returning 4.30pm the next day is $750

  • How much is it to hire the whole boat for a 2 day/night charter?

    The cost to hire the boat for up to 8 people on a 2 day/night charter from 6pm day 1 to 4.30pm day 3 is $9,000

  • What is the food like on the boat?

    We provide 3 meals per day, standard diet including meat, dairy and gluten. If you have specific dietary requirements, we suggest you bring food to supplement what we supply.

  • What fishing equipment do you supply?

    We supply standard rods, bait and ice as part of our package.

  • What does the electric reel package cover?

    This is an extra charge for use of our electric reels for deep drops, all bait, tackle and ice required for deep sea fish.

  • Can I bring my own electric rod?

    Yes, however there is still a fee of $50 for ice, bait and tackle.
